After purchasing a gas boiler, users also face issues related to transportation and installation. Ensuring the proper installation and normal operation of the boiler is a focus for many users. With years of experience in boiler installation, Zhongjie Special Installation has summarized the following precautions, hoping to help more users understand the correct operation methods when installing gas boilers.
1. Gas boilers must not be installed in bedrooms or rooms directly connected to bedrooms, nor in poorly ventilated basements.
2. To ensure safety and stability, users need to choose a professional installation company with qualifications for gas boiler installation.
3. The gas boiler power supply of 220V must be connected to a reliable grounding wire to ensure safe use.
4. The connection between the gas pipeline and the gas burner requires a dedicated gas pipeline.
5. After the gas pipeline installation is complete, open the gas valve and use soapy water to check for leaks at the connection points. If there is a leak, close the valve to repair or replace the seal, and then check the gas boiler until there are no leaks.
6. The boiler installation must be level or reasonably planned, aiming for short, few, and thick pipes, meaning to shorten the pipeline, reduce bends, and use thicker diameters. Additionally, the diameter of the return water main should be the same as that of the gas boiler outlet and return port.
7. The slope of the natural circulation water main and return pipeline should be 3-5%. The exhaust pipe should be placed at the system height, and no valves should be installed.
8. The drain valve should be installed at the lowest point of the system, and the bottom of the water replenishment tank should be higher than the supply pipe. The automatic exhaust valve must not replace the vent, and valves must not be installed or blocked.
9. The smoke pipe must extend outside during installation, with a slope of 5° downward to avoid condensation water flow, which can cause corrosion of the furnace body. No combustible materials should be placed around the smoke pipe.
